Social Media Assistant

We have an important campaign coming up called #CardsForCubs where we are aiming to raise awareness about foster children and also provide them with some encouragement and love through collecting hand made cards from our customers to distribute to foster children. We need help to ensure this event and others are well coordinated and highly effective in their mission. This position will have a strong emphasis on social media and will require regular and frequent communication within our team as well as with our customers, influencers, and design team. An ideal candidate for this position thrives in a fast paced team environment, enjoys frequent social interaction on social media and in the workplace, and is attentive to detail. This is not a marketing position, but is an assistant role with a diverse exposure to multiple aspects of the business. We are based in Arlington Tx. 76011.

Responsibilities and Duties

This position will be responsible for assisting our social media manager in implementing our social media strategy, managing the day to day tasks, assisting with relevant miscellaneous tasks, and measuring the success of these tasks. This position does not require any previous work experience, but we do require a strong working knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. We are willing to train for this position, but you must be comfortable in fast paced environments, enjoy frequent communication, and detail oriented. This position is temp to hire with a 60 day introductory period, and we are also accepting applicants who only wish to work part time.

The day to day for this position will look like performing or assisting with:

  • Instagram Content Curation
  • Coordinating with our Influencers and Design Team
  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy across all platforms for growth
  • Measure important social media KPIs
  • Manage and push all social media content
  • Manage our community and respond to all inbound inquiries to serve our customers
  • Sorting Customer inbound inquiries from social media messaging to ensure service
  • Measure the success of social media organic - report back monthly
  • Event Coordination for various social media campaigns

  • No formal education requirements

Prefered Qualifications

  • Creative
  • Paper Crafter with working knowledge of the industry.
  • Volunteer experience
  • Admin Experience or Executive Assistant Experience


$10-15 an hour based on previous work experience and current skillset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
