Frequently asked questions
What files can I use?
PNG, JPG, WebP and SVG. PNGs with a transparent background look best. If your image has a white background, select it and use Remove a white background.
What is a half-drop repeat?
Each column of tiles is shifted down by half a tile, so motifs line up on a diagonal instead of in straight rows. It is the most common repeat for fabric and wallpaper because it hides the grid.
Can I use the tile on Spoonflower or for print on demand?
Yes. Download one tile as a PNG at 300 DPI. Print-on-demand sites repeat it for you, and because the edges wrap, the joins are invisible. Choose the same repeat style on the site that you used here.
How do I print scrapbook paper?
In Download, pick 12 × 12 in scrapbook paper (or your printer's size), adjust the pattern scale, and download the sheet PNG. Print it at 100%, or use it as a Print Then Cut background.
