Box It turns a flat outline into a complete papercraft box template. Upload a letter, a heart, a star, a logo or any closed shape as an SVG, and it builds the front and back faces, the tabbed wall strips that join them, and every fold line in between. You get one true-size SVG cut file, ready for your cutting machine.
Letters with holes work too. The inside of a B, O or A becomes a cut-out with its own inner wall, so your letter box looks right from every side.
How it works

- Set the size. Choose the width, the wall depth and the tab size in inches or millimeters.
- Pick your fold style. Perforated fold lines cut on any machine. Score lines are for machines with a scoring tool.
- Download and cut. Each wall strip is labeled with matching letters so you know exactly where it glues.

Box It exports a clean SVG that imports into Cricut, Silhouette, Brother ScanNCut and other cutting software. Every piece is grouped with its own fold lines, and long walls are split automatically so no strip is longer than 11.5 inches, which fits a standard 12 x 12 inch mat. For sturdy boxes, use 80 to 110 lb cardstock (about 216 to 300 gsm).

Is Box It free?

Does it work with Cricut?
Yes. The download is a true-size SVG that imports into Cricut and other cutting software. Wall strips are kept under 11.5 inches so they fit a 12 x 12 inch mat.
Can I make a box shaped like a letter?
Yes. Upload the letter as an SVG outline. Inner holes, like the middle of an O or the two openings in a B, are cut out and get their own inner wall automatically.
What is the difference between perforated and score lines?
Perforated fold lines are short cuts with small bridges, so any machine can make them with a regular blade. Score lines are solid lines for machines with a scoring wheel or stylus. Both help the paper fold cleanly in the right place.
How big can my box be?
Width can go from 1.25 to 24 inches and wall depth from 0.25 to 4 inches. Larger boxes are split into more wall strips so every piece still fits on your mat.
How do I put the box together?
Cut all pieces, fold along the fold lines, then glue the wall tabs to the front and back faces. The letters on each strip match the letters marked on the faces, so you always know which strip goes where.
