Real sizes, real spacing, no guesswork

Tell it how tall your capital letters should be and the mat shows the exact finished width and height. Tighten or loosen the letter spacing, stretch the text wider or taller, and drag any single letter into place — perfect for tucking a first letter under a swash. When a letter has a hole you don’t want, switch to Fix holes and click it away.

Frequently asked questions

Are the fonts free to use for things I sell?

Every font in the library is open-licensed through Google Fonts, which allows personal and commercial projects. If you upload your own font file, check that its license covers what you make.

Will the SVG come in at the right size?

Yes. The file is saved with real inch dimensions, so it imports at the size shown on the mat.

What does weld do?

Weld merges overlapping letters into one outline, so connected script text cuts as a single piece. Turn it off in step 4 if you want every letter as its own shape.

Is my text or font uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs on your device. Fonts you upload stay in your browser.
